Dredger: Yuanhua's dredger series, by the dredging ways, can be divided into two kinds, among which one is the mechanical dredging and the other one is the cutter-suction dredging. For the mechanical dredging way, the mud buckets with different types (including the grab type, the bucket type and the bucket-wheel type) are adopted. The grab-type dredger is provided with a box-type hull with a quite big width so as to avoid the great inclination of the hull during the turnover of the grab bucket for dumping the silt. All sizes of the grab buckets, among which the one with a smaller capacity is less than 1m3 and the one with a larger capacity is more than 20m3, are provided so as to fit for different natures of soil. With a dipper capacity between 0.5 to 22m3 and a maximum dredging depth up to 15-18m, the dipper-type dredger is much more suitable for dredging the stiff sediment. A suspender and a bucket arm are adopted to make the bucket extending down to the bottom of the water. On a basis of the grab-type dredger and the dipper-type dredger, the chain-bucket dredger, where the dozens of dredge buckets are connected by ring chains, is manufactured and as a result, the working efficiency is greatly improved with the highest one reaching up to 1000m3/hr. Installed above the bucket ladder, the ring chains are driven by the idler pulley to circle the bucket ladder. While running down to the lower end of the bucket ladder, the dredge bucket dredges up the sediment, runs upwards out of the water and finally discharges the sediment. For the bucket-wheel dredger, its principle is very similar to that of the chain-bucket dredger. Their structures, however, differ far from each other. For the bucket-wheel dredger, its buckets are installed in a huge rotating wheel arranged at the front end of the arm handle, which enables the buckets down to the bottom of the water for dredging. ¡¡¡¡For the cutter-suction dredger, a cutter is adopted to loose the sediment at the bottom of the water or otherwise a rake is used to scrape the sediment. Later, a dredge pump is adopted to suck in and discharge the mud. With the technology improved, the side-boom dredge has been created. Among the cantilever truss and spreading outside the board, a dredging pipe comes from that of the drag-suction dredger. The sediment sucked in by the dredge pump is not allowed to enter into the spoil hopper and shall be directly discharged by the mud pipe into the downstream water flow to take it away. In this way, a sailing distance for the dredger going into the disposal area is no longer required and thus the efficiency is improved. That's why it enjoys great popularity.
