Crude phenol is white or colorless deliquescent crystal, nubbly, with notable sharp burning smell and taste, is soluble in water, can dissolve in alcohol, can be used in the production of synthetic fiber, pesticide, engineering plastics, dyes intermediates. Mainly extracting phenol, o-cresol, meta para cresol, xylenol, 35 - xylenol, is the solvent of senior insulating paint, and also is the important raw material for the industries such as plastics, pharmaceuticals, mildewproof agent etc..
